If you are visiting the north of England and looking for adventure, then you have come to the right place.
North East Guides are based in Tyne and Wear and offer training courses to: school and youth groups, individuals, families, local authorities, other public sector bodies and commercial organisations.

We work almost anywhere in the North, from the Lakes and North Pennines to the Cheviots and Borders. We are happy to travel, however, and will provide guided mountain days in most parts of the UK (given the availability of mountains!)

These days are tailored to suit the participants; some may be preparing for an upcoming assessment, others may have been deferred, and wish to fine tune their navigation, or some other area of weakness. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.

The Team

Roy and Ted are important members of the team here at North East Guides, as was Bess. Unfortunately Bess passed away in January but we’ll keep her photo here. Roy is a Mountain Rescue Search Dog who along with son Ted (a trainee MRSD) accompanies us on most of our activities.
